Mediation - Half Day
Service Description
Carlos Burruezo is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to serve as a Mediator and Arbitrator. Carlos’ experiences, background, knowledge, and manner give him a unique ability to help parties resolve their differences. Carlos provides his alternative-dispute resolution services through “Dispute Solutions,” a Firm designed to effectively assist with conflict resolution. Hourly rate: $650.00. Three or more party matters will be billed at $300.00 per hour/per side. There is a four-hour minimum fee for half-day mediations ($2,600). Deposit: In order to secure your mediation date, we require a 4-hour minimum deposit of $2,600.00 within five (5) business days of requesting a mediation date. If no deposit is received within five (5) business days, the mediation date will be released. Each party is responsible for half ($1,300.00). If one party is paying for both sides, please submit the full four-hour minimum deposit. Billing: Please note that credit card payments are subject to a surcharge of up to 3%. Payments made by debit card, eCheck or ACH do not incur any surcharge fees. No charge for travel time.
Cancellation Policy
Postponement & Cancellation: Notice of postponement or cancellation of a scheduled mediation/arbitration must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the scheduled mediation/arbitration. If notification is not received within the postponement or cancellation period, the parties will be invoiced their pro-rata share of the cancellation or postponement fee of $2,600.00 (which equals the four-hour minimum fee) and $5,200.00 (eight-hour minimum fee) for full-day mediations and arbitrations.
